What's included in the rental?
Rental fee includes access to the bridal suite, groom's bar, barn, machine shed, two decks, bonfire during your event and on-site restrooms. String lights and drapery in the barn, farmhouse tables, arch (optional), cross-back chairs and benches for the ceremony are also included. One price, everything is included.
How many guests will the barn hold?
The barn will seat up to 250 guests at once for a formal sit-down dinner.
Where can I have my wedding ceremony?
We have the perfect grass space for an outdoor ceremony. If it's looking like rain, we will plan to have the ceremony in the barn which also makes for great photos!
Where can I have my wedding reception?
Dinner and reception will be held inside the barn with a back deck for guests to enjoy the weather and sunset. The bar is located in the front machine shed building throughout the event so the bartenders can pull out of the refrigerated beverage trailer.
Are tables & chairs for the ceremony and reception included in the rental fee?
Yes, dinner tables and chairs as well as ceremony chairs and benches are all included in the rental fee. Ceremony set-up and reception set-up is predetermined by Brindlewood staff based on guest count. Our farmhouse tables can seat up to 10 guests each. Tables do not require linens.
Is there on-site parking?
While guests are encouraged to use shuttles, we have a parking lot on site that has capacity for up to 100 vehicles on our 1 acre gravel lot, overflow parking will be in the grass if conditions are dry. Guests may park overnight but must pick up their vehicles by noon. the morning after the event.
Are there dressing rooms on site for the bride and groom?
Yes, we have both a bridal suite and groom's bar on site for getting ready the morning of the event. The bridal suite is air-conditioned with four hair & makeup stations, a full-length mirror, changing area, couch and chair seating, coffee maker and a food/hors d'oeuvres table. The air-conditioned groom’s bar has a full-length bar, couch and chair seating, a full-length mirror, full-size fridge, coffee maker and a vintage dartboard.
When can we rehearse?
Rehearsal is optional and takes place an evening the week of your event for both Friday and Saturday weddings. We have two time slots to accommodate each. This is generally on Thursday unless noted otherwise.
What times do we have access to the property on our wedding day?
You may arrive as early as 11:00 a.m. central time and end music by 11:00 p.m. that evening so that all guests can be departed by 11:30pm. Vendors and those doing final pickup must depart no later than 11:30 p.m. as well.
Is there a caterer’s prep area in the barn?
We have limited prep space available for caterers to use. Choosing one of our suggested caterers will be in your best interest as they have experience serving in our space. There is one utility sink with water near the buffet set up area. No cooking can take place inside the barn. Caterers are responsible for clearing tables after dinner. This includes all dinner garbage, food, cups, plates and utensils. Please be sure to discuss this with them upon booking so no additional charges are incurred.
What type of restrooms are available?
We have modern yet rustic restrooms inside the front machine shed building that are ADA accessible equipped with speakers so you never miss a beat. There is also a private restroom in the bridal suite for the wedding party or immediate family to use.
Will there be Brindlewood Barn staff on-site during my event?
Yes, there will be 1-2 staff member present on site throughout the day and into the evening to ensure your day is safe and enjoyable for both you and your guests. Staff will oversee rental, address questions, tidy restrooms, oversee vendors and monitor guest safety. Brindlewood staff are not wedding planners, coordinators or decorators. If you feel that is support that will be needed for your event, hiring a wedding planner and or decorator is strongly advised.
Is smoking allowed?
Smoking is NOT allowed in any of our buildings, or on any of the decks. Smoking is only permitted on the gravel area in front of the barn. All smoking waste/litter must be properly disposed of in designated receptacles.
Are pets allowed?
Only animals owned by the bride and groom are permitted at the event. A maximum of two dogs are allowed on the property on the day of your event. Please note that Brindlewood staff is not responsible for watching, kenneling or leashing your animals at any time. You are also responsible for any waste pickup. The property is located on a County Road with a speed limit of 55mph that can be very dangerous for animals. We do not advise bringing animals on extremely hot days.
